Minimob: European mobile film competition
Experience the city with a mobile phone
We invited young European cross-disciplinary artists to experiment and use the mobile phone as a new means of creation and narrative, to reveal a creative vision of urban spaces and European cities.
Participants had to:
- Choose a specific urban area
- Produce a short film with a mobile phone, 3 minutes max length,
- Special attention was given to imaginative, unconventional and offbeat projects with a locative and context-specific approach
Public targeted:
Visual and new media artists, performers, choreographers, musicians, architects, designers, writers, art students…
Prizes:
A stay in Prague to present the film in November 2011

WINNERS INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION
Inhabitants and students were invited, through local associations, schools of art or architecture, to participate to a competition initiated at local level by the partners. They had to produce short movies dealing with their city or living area by using the mobile phone. The winning videos of the competitions in Paris, Prague and Timisoara are here below.
